Second edition of the version including the entire opus in one book, in which a number of arbitrary changes with respect to GE1op was introduced. They include, i.a.:
- additions of accidentals,
- addition of a tie sustaining f2 in bars 40-41;

omission of the
sign in bar 92.
There are impressions of GE2op differing in the details of the cover or printing technique. The copy presented in mUltimate Chopin comes from a slightly later impression (ca. 1856).
