Title: | Valse |
A two-page, signed autograph with the Vivace indication and precisely marked pedalling. It does not contain any dynamic indications. The reprise is marked as Dal Segno, however, since Fine in bar 36 is clearly written in the 2nd volta, most probably, the Waltz is not shorter from the final version. The beginning of the piece is particularly noteworthy: the melodic line in bars 5-7 is an exact repetition of the one in bars 1-3. Other details also indicate an early stage of shaping of the Waltz's text.
