In EE the Chopinesque fingering was supplemented by a digit over the 6th semiquaver. The indicated 5th finger is a natural consequence of the authentic fingering and – as was the case with the previous additions – almost certainly does not come from Chopin. On the other hand, the digit '2' placed in EE over the 1st semiquaver, indicating the 3rd finger in the English system, must be a mistake committed while changing the system of markings.
