A (→GE), FE, EE1 differ in the dedication's wording - yet it concerns the same person. The A version does not precise to which of de Lobau sisters the piece was offered. We give the dedication according to the EE1, including full information concerning the dedication's addressee. In EE2 the dedication was removed.

The  time signature is most probably an error or FE's and GE's revision. Changes of time signature indication of that kind are to be found on a number of occasions also in other Chopin's pieces issued by those publishing houses – cf. e.g. Etude in C, Op. 10 No. 1, bar 1..

In FE the indication legato was put between the pentagrams. It is unknown whether such placement complies with Chopin's intention or if it is an inaccuracy in the base's reproduction. After all, it is not of practical importance, as in Chopin's notation signs and indications placed over the R.H. may refer to both hands.
