Slurs in GE and EE are certainly imprecise. This may have resulted from unclear notation of slurs in Fontana’s copies serving as the basis for these editions (where e.g. b. 7 was the last in the first line of the text. However, the way slurs are noted in A leaves no room for doubt as for Chopin’s intention in this place.

Given that there is g in both the previous and following bars, we are led to believe tha the internal note of the chord in the second half of b. 25 per Chopin’s intention should also be g, and its omission must have been Chopin’s oversight. The version with g is no less satisfactory in musical terms, so if we assume there is no error in Chopin’s notation, we have proposed it for the main text.

b. 28

composition: Op. 43, Tarantella

AFC3 (→FEIE), EEGE4

GE1 (→GE2GE3)

..

The slur beginning on the second beat of b. 28 in GE1 (→GE2GE3) is most certainly inaccurate. It may have resulted from unclear marking of slurs in [FC1] which was the basis for these edtitions (e.g. when b. 27 was the last bar in the last but one line of text). The notation of slurs in A, however, leaves no doubts as for Chopin's intentions.
