Corrected impression of FE1 – see the 1st movement of the Sonata.
The corrections included mistakes and oversights found as a result of comparison with the base text, i.e. [A], e.g., these in bar 71, 78 and 82 (cf. the characterization of FE1). Chopin's participation in this proofreading seems to be highly unlikely.
The proofreading of FE2 did not remove all mistakes. Copies of this impression served for two authorial proofreadings, on the basis of which FE3 and EE1 were created.
