GE1b - Flawed impression of GE1
Publisher: | Breitkopf & Härtel |
Date: | 1848-1855 |
Title: | Douze Etudes || 4me Etude |
Dedication: | Madame la Comtesse d'Agoult |
Later impression of GE1, provided with one of the latest versions of the cover, which indicates years 1848-1855 as a possible period of its publication. The presented copy is by far the only one identified from that impression.
In the entire book (including the first 6 Etudes), there is only one, not being a patent flaw of print, difference regarding GE1 – a mistake in bar 36 of the Etude in G minor, No. 6. In the detailed notes we consider this impression (copy?) a part of GE1 and we do not include it when mentioning the sources.
