b. 245

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt I

Wedge in A & EE

No mark in GE (→FE,IE)

..

The missing wedge over the 5th quaver in GE (→FE,IE) must be due to an oversight by the engraver of GE. In EE the mark was most probably added by analogy with the next bar.

b. 246-247

composition: Op. 43, Tarantella

..

In A, most probably as a result of omission fesin RH is not tied over to the next bar. Based on the corressponding tie in bars 244-245, we annotate the main text with a tie here. FC3GE1 (→GE2GE3) copy the incorrect notation of A.

b. 246-247

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I

Slur in bar 246 in A

Slur to bar 247 in GE (→FEEE)

..

GE (→FEEE) treated the slur in the parts of both hands in the same way, which is not compliant with the notation of A. According to us, there are also no musical reasons to suspect an inaccuracy of the notation of A, hence we give it directly in the main text.
