In the majority of sources there is no For writing that note Chopin used 4 ledger lines (one too many). He corrected his mistake by deleting the lowest ledger line. In A, Chopin marked with extra crotchet stems the progression c sharp-d-e flat, evidently in connection with the span of the semiquaver figures and the actual possibility of sustaining the marked notes with the fingers. In GE1 (→FE→EE) c at the beginning was mistakenly sustained instead of d at the end of bar 44. The accents of A were probably omitted by mistake in GE1 (→FE→EE). However, Chopin did not supplement them when proofing FE, despite the fact that he was adding the lines lengthening cresc., in that bar and in the preceding bars he was supplementing other L.H. accents.
