In A, Chopin marked with extra crotchet stems the progression c sharp-d-e flat, evidently in connection with the span of the semiquaver figures and the actual possibility of sustaining the marked notes with the fingers. In GE1 (→FE→EE) c at the beginning was mistakenly sustained instead of d at the end of bar 44. In GE2 the omitted stem for d was added.
