In the majority of sources there is no For writing that note Chopin used 4 ledger lines (one too many). He corrected his mistake by deleting the lowest ledger line. The note f in GE1 is certainly erroneous: this is evidenced by the proofing - probably Chopin's - of FE, in which the d flat written in A was reinstated.
