Title: | Etudes || 1re Étude |
Dedication: | Madame la Comtesse d'Agoult |
Pupil's copy of FE3, from the collection of Chopin’s works belonging to his pupil Jane Stirling. It contains crotchet stems in bars 15-16 and a fingering numeral in bar 41, added in pencil, probably by Chopin. The sense of the remaining signs in the note text – slightly inclined, almost vertical dashes in bars 8 and 26 – is unclear.
