The absence of slurs in A is an evident oversight of Chopin, who did not entirely consider which elements of notation of this bar should be written and which are already subject to the abbreviated indication of this and the subsequent bars – cf. the next note. The slurs were added in the proofreading of FE1, most probably on the basis of Chopin entry in the proofreading copy. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE , Inaccuracies in A |

In the main text we give a slur introduced by Chopin in the FE1's proofreading in the analogous bar 124. The identical slur in EE and later GE is a revision based on the same observation. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: EE revisions , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE |
