The third German edition performed a few arbitrary changes with respect to GE2. The most important include:
- revisions of the slurring in bars 4-5 or bar 30;
- revisions of dynamic hairpins (generally minor increase of the range) in bars 6, 11.
Moreover, the editor also added the necessary accidentals in bar 71.
In addition, the edition includes a number of significant mistakes:

the "s" letter was overlooked in some of the
indications (bars 19 and 21) - the voices in bar 19 were erroneously assigned
- the necessary accidentals next to the grace notes in bar 29 and in bar 49 were removed
-
the stem next to b
1 in the R.H. in bar 37 was removed.
