The second, corrected impression of the French edition was released more or less one month after FE1. Chopin participated in the proofreading, although the undeniable traces of his participation were left only in the second Polonaise in E minor. The composer most probably restored the correct sound of the grace notes in bar 29, by adding the overlooked . Among other changes, one can mention deletion of the superfluous accidentals in bar 44.
There exist copies differing in the printing method – the copy presented in mUltimate Chopin as well as FED have the score engraved whilst FEJ and FES are lithographed.
