In GE2 part of the faults of GE1 have been corrected – e.g. a few missing accidentals were added, e.g. in bar 105, 137, 162 or 166. In bar 114 the erroneous g1-d2 fifth was changed to a g1-c1 fourth.
Some minor arbitrary changes have also been made – e.g. cautionary accidentals were added in bar 57 and 72.
However, the majority of the missing articulation markings were not supplemented (e.g. the staccato marks in bar 133 or 161-163, as well as slurs in bar 141), although it should be noted that it is not always possible to say whether the absence of the marks resulted from oversights or from the fact that a version of FE prior to proofreading was used.
