The GE1 version, featuring a1 as the R.H. bottom note in the 1st half of the bar, almost certainly resulted by accident from the FE inaccuracy. In FE the  lowering a1 to a1, which should have been directly before this note, was placed by mistake as a third flat in the key signature, hence the GE1 engraver, having no reason to check the key signature, omitted it. GE2 and EE include the correct text, the only authentic one, featuring a1.
