composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

The absence of the tie of c4 must be a mistake (probably of the engraver of FE, although Chopin's oversight also cannot be excluded), which is proved by:

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

The missing tie of g3 is probably an oversight of the engraver of GE1 (→GE2). The tie was added in GE3. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , GE revisions |

composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor

In GC (→GE) the first quaver is e1. Consistent versions of EE and FE as well as the further shape of the passage indicate high probability of the copyist's error. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: GE revisions , Errors of GC |

composition: Op. 31, Scherzo in B♭ minor

In b. 531 and 535 in the main text we give the unequivocal whole-bar slurs of A (→FC→GE). However, the longer slurs of FE (→EE) are probably a result of Chopin's proofreading: there is no visible reason for which the engraver would have complicated his work with asymmetrical slurs. Therefore, they can be considered an equivalent variant. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 532-539

composition: Op. 39, Scherzo in C♯ minor

In the LH part in GC the lack base clefs in bars 533 and 539. These obvious errors were corrected in GE. In EE one of the clefs was erroneously placed at the end of b. 532 instead of b. 533. In FE there is no clef nevessary for bars 533, 537 and 539. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Errors in EE , GE revisions , Errors of GC |
