The A slur does not go beyond the bar line, yet it seems that it was supposed to be led to the d1 crotchet in bar 343, particularly in the face of the unambiguous notation of an analogous slur in bars 346-347. In the editions the slur was ended on the last quaver in bar 342, which is justified by the inaccurate A notation. The earlier starting point of the slur in FE and IE is probably due to the overinterpretation of the GE notation. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , Inaccurate slurs in A , |
