Fingering written into FEH

No fingering in FE (→GE)

Fontana's fingering in EE

The compliant fingering of EE and the one written in FEH does not influence the evaluation of their uncertain authenticity.

b. 296-297

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

Fingering written into FED

Fingering written into FEH

No fingering in FE (→GE)

Fontana's fingering in EE

..

The first finger on is given in all three sources containing fingering, and it is this digit that we include in the main text. Further indications of FEH, written by a foreign hand, present one of the possibilities of fingering this fragment; it is difficult to evaluate the likelihood of their authenticity, rather inconsiderable.

Slur in bars 296-297 in FE (→GE,EE)

Continuation of slur suggested by the editors

..

According to us, there is a credible possibility that the slur of the sources is inaccurate, which is indicated, e.g. by the missing slur in the previous bar, unjustified by the phrasing. Due to this reason, in the main text, here and in the previous bar, we suggest a generally unquestionable slur present in analogous bars 311-312.
