EE2 introduced small amendments to the text of EE1 i.a. on the basis of a comparison with GE1 – see Prelude in C no. 1.
All 3 revisions in the Prelude in G
minor were almost certainly performed on the basis of GE1:
- a tie was added to B in b. 21-22,
- the cautionary sharps before a1-a2 in b. 37 (removed in EE1) were restored,
- an accent was added in b. 61.
