Slurs in GE and EE are certainly imprecise. This may have resulted from unclear notation of slurs in Fontana’s copies serving as the basis for these editions (where e.g. b. 7 was the last in the first line of the text. The slur beginning on the second beat of b. 28 in GE1 (→GE2→GE3) is most certainly inaccurate. It may have resulted from unclear marking of slurs in [FC1] which was the basis for these edtitions (e.g. when b. 27 was the last bar in the last but one line of text).
