Dedication: | Mademoiselle Adèle de Furstenstein |
A copy from a collection belonging to Chopin's pupil, Camille O'Méara-Dubois. It contains a small number of pencilled annotations coming from Chopin, including some most probably written by his hand. The most valuable entries include the performance indication of the endings of the trills in b. 179-180 by the L.H. only and a long accent, specifying the meaning of the mark in b. 521. Other legible entries include the L.H. fingering in b. 61-62 and corrections of printing defects, i.e. addition of the overlooked in b. 521 and of the L.H. slur in b. 533-534.
