Slurs
b. 32
|
composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III
..
The version of FE (→EE,GE1→GE2) may be inaccurate – neither in analogous bar 24 nor in the two remaining places in which Chopin used rests in the main theme of this movement of the Concerto (bar 38 and 54) the rest is encompassed with a slur. Therefore, we may be dealing with a mistake or a remaining element of the original version – cf. the 1st movement of the Concerto, bar 197. Therefore, the shortened slur of GE3 may be considered a justified attempt to reproduce the notation of [A]. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: GE revisions |

b. 33
|
composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III
..
In FE (→GE1→GE2), the slur in the R.H., which started in bar 32, does not have an ending here, i.e. on a new line. The defect was corrected in EE and GE3. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , Uncertain slur continuation , Errors repeated in GE |

b. 53-54
|
composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III
..
The absence of a slur over the beginning of the ascending semiquaver fragment of the phrase must be considered an inaccuracy of notation, perhaps caused by the transition into a new line in FE. It results from a comparison with analogous figures – the discussed place is the only one in which those two semiquavers are not encompassed with a slur. The additions introduced both in EE and GE3 may be considered justified. In the main text, we suggest the first solution, since it is more frequent in the compared analogous bars. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Inaccuracies in FE , GE revisions |

b. 58
|
composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III
..
In the main text, we add a slur after analogous bar 286 and similar bar 59. An identical addition was introduced in GE3. Cf. bar 287. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: GE revisions |

b. 62
|
composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III

The concordant slurs over similar motifs in bars 60-61 and 63 prove that the missing slur in the discussed bar is an inaccuracy of notation. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: GE revisions |
