No slur in A (→GEFE)

A slur added in EE

The editors' suggestion

..

The omission of a slur in A (→GEFE) is, in our opinion, the result of Chopin's notation being slightly lacking in perfection at this point; therefore we supplement that sign. The reviewer of EE apparently reached the same conclusion, repeating here the slur from analogous bar 7.

b. 32

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

 in A (→GE2)

A shorter dynamic mark in GE1 (→FE)

 added in EE

..

The hairpins  clearly written in A  were inaccurately reproduced in GE1 (→FE). That shorter mark was then arbitrarily supplemented in EE by adding  . The notation of A was restored in GE2

b. 32

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

..

We add cautionary naturals before b flat1 in the 2nd demisemiquaver triplet and e flat3 in the last one. The first sign was added as early as FE (→EE), probably by Chopin's request, the second one in EE.

b. 33

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

..

In EE each of the two small grace notes is linked to its main note with a separate slur. This is either an arbitrary addition or simply a mistake.
