Franchomme added a cautionary  before d flat2 at the beginning of bars 72 and 74 in FEFr. Those signs are routine editorial revisions and they do not seem necessary in that melodic and harmonic context; therefore, we consider them to be inauthentic additions to FEFr.

In A (→GEFEEE) there is a cautionary  before the 5th semiquaver g flat2 . We do not give that sign in the main text as the harmonic background – the simultaneous g flat  in the  L.H. – precludes the possibility of playing g2 that could cross the performer's mind because of the close imitation of the upper voice.
