It is clearly visible in A that Chopin changed the last note in the left hand from f to a flat.

A possible interpretation of the slur of A

The slur in GE (→FEEE)

The extent of the slur in A is not quite clear if we take into account the notation of the 3rd quaver before it was deleted and changed (the slurs had probably been written before the correction was made). In the editions that slur was read "literally". We accept that as not in contradiction with the notation of A, and in any case most probably accepted by Chopin.
