The absence of slurs must be an oversight – Chopin forgot to write slurs after passing to a new page in A. These are the most frequent mistakes committed in the Chopinesque manuscripts. Due to this reason, in the main text we suggest slurs drawn from the part of violin I in Morch, in accordance with the authentic slurring of analogous bars 22-23. The slurs of EE are almost certainly inauthentic, whereas the slur in bar 22 – certainly erroneous. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |

In A, the flat restoring e is written with pencil; therefore, its authenticity is uncertain (see the characterization of A). There is no corresponding sign before the bottom note of this octave in A. The flats are present in all parts of Morch performing this line and in analogous bar 23. The editions feature the correct text. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: GE revisions , Foreign hand additions in manuscripts |

The indication Solo is present only in GE and EE; in both editions it was probably added by the revisers. The absence of the indication in FE suggests that in GE1 it was added in the last stage of proofreading. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , GE revisions , Inaccuracies in A |

Same as in all previous similar bars, we consider the missing slurs in the L.H. in bars 349-351 to be an inaccuracy of the notation of A (→GE→FE), resulting from an increasing haste. Due to this reason, we add slurs after bars 1-3 and 25-27. In EE, in all four bars, arbitrary double slurs for each pair of dyads were introduced. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |
