Slur in A & GE2

No slur in GE1 (→FEEE)

..

The missing slur over the top voice must be a mistake of GE1 (→FEEE). However, it may not be a common oversight, but an atypical example of a transfer of sign: a slur was printed under the notes instead of over them, although of the same range, which gave it a form of a tie of f(the engraver could have been encouraged to perform such a change by, e.g. lack of space under the notes).

Staccato dots suggested by the editors

We suggest adding staccato signs in a similar context in bars 342 and 344 after the dots in the L.H. in bar 348 written in A.

e2 in FE2

In the main text we include the  raising e2 to e2, added by Chopin in the last phase of proofreading of FE2.

Dotted rhythm in A

Quavers in GE (→FEEE)

..

The dotted rhythm in A is the original version (cf. analogous bar 20), left here by Chopin, perhaps unintentionally. Therefore, the quavers in GE (→FEEE) may be a result of Chopin's proofreading, although the absence of visible traces of performing changes in print allows us to consider a possible mistake of the engraver.
