We interpret the slur of A, started at the end of a page in bar 173 and unfinished on the next page, in accordance with the notation of bars 169-179 and the slurs in the R.H. in bars 169-170 and 171-172. The absence of the slur over (under) the triplet in bar 174 must be Chopin's oversight. The slur of GE (→FE) is probably a result of a Chopin proofreading of GE1, whereas the slur of EE – of a revision. There are no dots in A, and the slurs are marked inaccurately, so that it is uncertain whether they are supposed to encompass the whole bars or only the 2nd and 3rd crotchets.
