Title: | Sonate || Finale |
Dedication: | None |
A copy of [A] intended for the base text for the first German edition. GC was reviewed and corrected by Chopin, who introduced a number of improvements to the text of the Sonata – see, e.g., the 1st mov., bars 141-142. In this movement the composer's entries are limited to a few accidentals (in bar 51 and 59) and probably the sign in bars 13-14.
In this movement, one can clearly see the imprecise or erroneous notation of note heads, which often do not cause misunderstandings only due to the context, e.g., in bar 2, 8, 24, 32, 66. It is noticeable that the majority of these mistakes concerns G (G) notes.
