Title: | Trois Valses | No. 2 |
Dedication: | None |
The second edition of a version comprising the entire opus in one book, in which numerous arbitrary changes were introduced with respect to GE1op. They include, e.g.:
- additions of accidentals,
- additions and changes in performance indications, generally on the basis of comparing analogous places, e.g., adding signs in bars 31-32 and 103-104 or shifting the sign from bar 173 to 174;
- other changes unifying analogous places, e.g., adding c1 notes on the 2nd and 3rd beat in bar 106 and deleting them in bar 162.
There are impressions of GE2op differing in the details of the cover or printing technique. The copy presented in mUltimate Chopin comes from a slightly later impression (ca. 1856).
