Pupil's copy of FE3 from the collection of Chopin's pieces belonging to his pupil Camille O'Méara-Dubois. FED includes numerous annotations, added by the composer in pencil:
- fingering in the introduction and in bars 8, 13, 22, 24, 25, 26, 53 and 56;
- hints concerning the manner of beginning the trill in bars 7 and 51, 37, 55;
- correction of a mistake – an added
of g
in bar 24; - additional indication of performing the e1 minim in bar 45 (likely);
- a few other, not always understandable, signs, probably illustrating lesson indications concerning the distinct phrasing.
