EE2 corrected a large number of errors from the first impression, and introduced a number of arbitrary changes.
Some errors escaped the editor's attention, e.g.:
- c1 (c
1?) instead of b at the beginning of bar 108; - f instead of d at the end of bar 108;
Among the arbitrary additions and changes, the following can be mentioned:
in b. 4;There are known copies of EE2 with two versions of the title page. The copy presented in mUltimate Chopin has a later version, introduced in 1852* (the earlier one can be seen in the copy of EE1).
