In FE2, a number of errors in FE1 were corrected, both own, e.g. the omissions in bars 17, 28, 40, 52, 67, 98, 119, 147, 218 and 239 listed in the characteristics of this edition, as well as repeated after GE:
- erroneous
raising f2 to f
2 was removed in bar 124; - g3 was changed to g
3 in bar 139.
Other changes introduced in FE2 include:
- adding slurs in bars 18, 172 and 174,
- correcting the location of the R.H. slur in bar 60,
- adding a cautionary
to e3 in bar 78 and a 
raising c2 to c2 in bar 170.
Attention! Images of FE2 will be presented on mUltimate Chopin as soon as a photocopy of it is obtained from the British Library, which will be possible once the Library's Digitisation Service is available after a temporary interruption. The images are currently available (as FFE – the first and only impression of FE) in the Online Chopin Variorum Edition.
