b. 425

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

Slur in FE (→GE)

2 slurs in EE

..

Chopin would sometimes use the notation with double slurs, e.g. in the Concerto in F minor, op. 21, 3rd mov., bars 472-480, yet in this case, the addition of the top slur must be a revision of EE.

b. 425

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

..

In FE (→EE), the  before the last semiquaver was overlooked, which was corrected in GE. Moreover, instead of a  before the 8th semiquaver (c2) the majority of the sources (except for GE3) feature a respective mark on the 5th semiquaver. It is related to the use of an octave sign to write the 1st beat of the bar.

b. 425-426

composition: Op. 31, Scherzo in B♭ minor

c1 tied in A (→FC, →FEEE) & GE2 (→GE3)

c1 repeated in GE1

..

The lack of a tie to c1 in GE1 is undoubtedly an error resulting presumably from an inaccuracy in FC which has this tie only in b. 426 (on a new staff). The tie was added in GE2 (→GE3). See also b. 424-425.

b. 426-428

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt III

..

It is only GE2 that includes a natural before b2, the 4th quaver in bars 426 and 428; however, due to the use of an octave sign, we consider the sound of this note to be specified also in the remaining sources.
