In A, the tie sustaining fis written only in bar 433, opening a new page in A. It could have been a reason for its omission in GE (→FEEE).

Slurs from 3rd semiquaver in FE (→EE,GE1GE2)

Dots & slurs in GE3

Slurs from 1st semiquaver suggested by the editors

..

In the main text, we suggest starting the slurs in both hands from the 1st semiquaver, since in similar places slurs starting from the beginning of semiquaver sequences are more frequent (e.g. in the next bar or in bars 412-413). In GE3, shorter slurs were kept, whereas the first two semiquavers were arbitrarily provided with staccato dots.

Wedges in EE & GE3

Wedges suggested by the editors

..

In spite of this and a few other minor inaccuracies, the need to perform the quavers opening particular bars staccato is unquestionable in the sources. Wedges were added already in EE and GE3.
