Omitting dashes marking the range of a dynamic (or agogic) change is a frequent inaccuracy in first editions of Chopin's works, particularly when transitioning to a new line, as in FE (→GE,EE) here. In the main text, we suggest conducing dashes to the peak of the raising sequence, i.e.to the end of bar 423.

In the L.H. part, there are erroneous c​​​​​​​2-b1 semiquavers in GE1. A similar mistake was present also in FE; however, it was corrected therein, probably in the last phase of proofreading. The subsequent GE contain the correct text.

In FE, the missing slur in the L.H. is a patent inaccuracy (in addition, the staccato marks in the 2nd half of the bar were overlooked, not to mention the Terzverschreibung error – see the subsequent notes in this bar). The slur was added in GE and EE.

The missing staccato dots in the 2nd half of the bar is the last of a few mistakes and inaccuracies committed in FE in this bar. The markings were added in the remaining editions; however, it is only EE and GE3 that added them in accordance with the R.H. part.
