b. 211-212

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt I

in bar 211 in GC (→GE)

No sign in FE (→EE)

in bar 212 suggested by the editors

..

The placing of the  sign (diminuendo/long accent) at the end of bar 211 in GC (→GE) is certainly a mistake – cf. bars 212-213, and an inaccurate slurring, e.g. in bars 212-214. We consider the omission of the sign in FE (→EE) to be an error as well. In the main text we shift the sign written in GC to the beginning of bar 212, accordingly with the analogous motives.

b. 211-222

composition: Op. 2, Variations, complete

..

In the main text we add cautionary flats to e1 in bars 211, 214, 219 and 222 (in the latter also in an alternative version, to the 5th semiquaver).

b. 211

composition: Op. 12, Variations in B♭ major

..

In FE the  raising f1 to f1 was omitted here. This patent mistake – see the R.H. part – was corrected both in GE and EE.

b. 211-215

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt I

..

In A in bars 211-214 and in the 1st half of bar 215 the accidentals in the R.H. part are generally put only to the top note of an octave. There are exceptions: the f1-f2 octaves in bar 212 and d2-d3 in bar 214, in which the sharps are next to the bottom notes only, and the b1-b2 octave in bar 213, with both naturals. All necessary accidentals were added by GE (→FE,EE,IE).
