b. 124

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III

Fingering written into FEH

No fingering in FE (→GE)

Fontana's fingering in EE

..

Initially, FEH copied the 4th finger for the 1st semiquaver in bar 124, which was then changed to the 5th one, which distinguished that fingering from the one given by Fontana in EE.

b. 124-125

composition: Op. 38, Ballade in F major

 in A (→GCGE)

No sign in FE

in EE

..

The lack of  hairpin is most probably an oversight by the engraver of FE. The much shorter sign in EE is likely inaccurate.

b. 124

composition: Op. 22, Polonaise

..

In FE (→GE1), there is not a single accidental under the octave sign. The patent inaccuracy – the preceding flats before d2 and g2 were considered sufficient – was corrected in EE and – partially – in GE2 (→GE3), in which a  was added only before g3.
