Second impression of GE2 was patchily compared with FE2, which is evidenced by the change in bar 38 – g was added there to the L.H. chords, thus taking into account the Chopinesque proofreading of FE2.
In addition, two revisions were performed in this edition:
- a mordent was added in bar 22 – on the basis of a comparison with bars 18, 26 and 30;
- a tie to c1 was added in bars 30-31, which, however, is contradicted by the Chopinesque fingering in FES.
