b. 33

composition: Op. 28 No. 19, Prelude in E♭ major

e1 in A (→FCGE1, →FEEE)

g1 in GE2 (→GE3)

..

The legitimacy of the revision of GE2 is questionable – see b. 1.

b. 33-42

composition: Op. 28 No. 19, Prelude in E♭ major

..

In A (→FC) these bars are marked in an abridged manner with empty bars, numbered from 1 to 10, which indicates that b. 1-10 should be repeated.

issues: Abbreviated notation of A

b. 35

composition: Op. 28 No. 19, Prelude in E♭ major

..

As was the case in b. 3 and 11, there is no  raising b to b in A (→FC,FE). The accidentals were added in GE and EE.

category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources

issues: EE revisions , Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions , Inaccuracies in A , Errors repeated in FE

b. 39

composition: Op. 28 No. 19, Prelude in E♭ major

on 6th quaver in A, probable reading

on 5th quaver in A (another reading→FC)

on 2nd beat in FE (→EE) & GE

on 3rd beat, possible reading of A

on 3rd beat, our alternative suggestion

..

As was the case in b. 7, of which this bar is a repetition, the interpretation of the pedalling markings in the manuscripts is problematic. In addition to two most likely interpretations of A (versions A and FC), we suggest one more possible interpretation and two contextual interpretations modelled on the pedalling markings written by Chopin in similar situations in b. 37 or 25.
