GE3 introduced only small corrections to the text of GE2 (only in Prelude in F no. 23). There are copies of both versions of GE3 (complete opus or 4 fascicules). The copy presented in mUltimate Chopin dates most probably from 1872-1873 – its cover features prices in marks which were introduced as a new currency in 1872.
