In this version of EE an individual title page was replaced by a serial one comprising a list of Chopin's works published by Wessel to date. In the copy presented in mUltimate Chopin, it contains pieces up to the Mazurkas op. 50. This allows us to determine the probable date of the publication of EE1a*. In this Prelude EE1a does not differ from EE1. Therefore, we do not regard it as an independent source in our notes to particular passages. For more information on both books of this impression (containing the entire Op. 28) see EE1a in the Prelude in C no. 1.
