b. 256-257

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III

Slur in FE (→EE,GE1GE2)

2 slurs in GE3

..

From the pianistic point of view, the division of the slur in GE3 is justified – it is most likely that both the present figures and those in bars 250-252 are to be performed with the same articulation Chopin indicated for the first time in the L.H. part. However, the slur of the remaining sources may be understood as phrasing and not articulation, hence we preserve it in the main text.

No mark in FE (→GE)

Wedge in EE

..

Like in the case of the slurs, the wedge added by EE over b may also be considered justified.

b. 257

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III

In GE1 (→GE2), there are no naturals lowering c and c1 to c and c1. They were probably added in the last phase of proofreading of FE (→EE). Naturals were added also in GE3.

b. 258

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III

 in FE (→EE,GE1GE2)

 in GE3

A shift of the  mark most probably resulted from lack of space in [A] – in FE in bar 254 the mark is also placed next to the note and not under it, but it does not cause confusion there.
