A, FE (→EE1), GET

GE and EE3

Chopin's correction of GE is possible, yet it is more likely that both figures in this bar were erroneously made to follow the previously binding pattern in which the third and the sixth note of each figure are the same (A has  e flat as the 3rd and the 12th semiquaver – cf. remark to the last note in that bar). Even if the version of GE had been authentic, Chopin gave it up when correcting GE and GET; this would be the example of his hesitation.

The appearance of the version of GE in EE3 is an arbitrary adjustment made by the editor.
