In the main text we omit the cautionary before d2. It may be a remaining element of an earlier orthography of the previous triplet, in which the top notes were written as d2, same as in bar 320. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: Cautionary accidentals |

The additional slurs in bars 325 and 333 must be a revision of EE. Such double slurs were added also in the places where they are absent in the previous sources – cf. bars 326-328 and 334. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions |

In this case – cf. bar 313 – a return to tempo primo at the recapitulation of the main theme is obvious to the pianist. However, it is not that obvious to the strings, performing a non-characteristic accompaniment. This explains the omission of a tempo in A (→GE→FE→EE). In the main text we suggest it in a variant form. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources |

b. 326-334

In the main text we add slurs in the L.H. in bars 326-328 and 334 after the respective bars in the exposition. A simplified notation – slurs only in bars 325 and 333, most probably as a model for the next bars – is probably a result of Chopin's increasing haste at the time of writing A. In EE double slurs were added in these bars, same as in bars 325 and 333. In GE2 a slur was added only in bar 327 (and 335). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions |

Adjusting slurs to bars is a characteristic manner of the engraver of GE1. The version of A was restored in GE2. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions |
