b. 249-250

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt I

6 staccato dots in A

12 dots in GE (→FEEE)

..

In the main text we preserve the notation of A, in which only every second quaver in the L.H. was provided with staccato dots. Therefore, the signs also designate delicate accents, which partly disappeared in the version of the editions.

Long accents in A

Short accents in GE (→FEEE)

..

Shorter accents over f2 in bar 249 and g2 in bar 250 is a result of problems of the engraver of GE1 with identification of Chopin long accents.

In the main text we omit the  present in A (→GE1FEEE) before the 1st note in the 2nd half of the bar. The unnecessarily repeated sign was removed in GE2.

Long accents in A

 in GE

Accent &  in FE (→EE)

..

The clearly long accents of A were reproduced in GE (→FEEE) as  hairpins, whereas in FE (→EE) the first sign actually looks like a long accent and the second one was extended over the entire group of four semiquavers. The changes can be qualified as inaccurate.
