In the main text we preserve the notation of the accents of A. It almost certainly marks – in spite of the use of single signs in five out of six places – accenting of respective notes in both hands. In GE1 (→FE) the signs were moved to such an extent that they clearly refer to the R.H. In EE and GE2 all accents were placed both in the part of the R.H. and the L.H., whereas in EE they were changed to vertical accents. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions |

Shortening the slur in the editions is certainly a result of inaccuracy of the engraver of GE1. In turn, in the case of the addition of a slur for the L.H., Chopin's proofreading cannot be entirely excluded. In GE2 both slurs were preserved, extending both in accordance with the notation of the slur in the R.H. in A. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions |

Chopin shortened the initially written g1 minims in the violin part, replacing them with crotchets and rests. He also shortened b minims in cellos in a similar manner as well as modified the slur in the 1st violin part accordingly. category imprint: Corrections & alterations; Source & stylistic information issues: Corrections in A |
