In the proofreading of FE1 Chopin added staccato dots for the L.H. in the 2nd halves in bars 85-86 and in the 1st half of bar 87. Moreover, he added dots also in the R.H. in the 2nd half of bar 85. According to us, it is the gap in the indications of the R.H. that could have drawn Chopin's attention, who noticed some defects also in the L.H. near this place (similarly in bars 89-90).
